Know your Internet: How far will your Data (GBs) get you?

This is a good guide to how much data (or how many gigabytes GBs) you need for your lifestyle.
Faircape Fibre Internet packages are all UNCAPPED – which means that we don’t limit the number of GBs you use. You can use as much internet as you like and it will never get finished.
Here is a rough idea of what you can expect to get out of your data. Please note that these numbers are based on an average and that the number of hours in each column would be for only that applications.
So, if for example, you had a 20GB data plan, you would be able to watch 4 hours of regular Netflix, and then your internet would be finished.
20GB Data | 50GB Data | 100GB Data | Uncapped | |
Netflix Viewing (HD) | 4 hours | 14 hours | 28 hours | Unlimited |
Netflix Viewing (Ultra HD) | 1.5 hours | 5 hours | 10 hours | Unlimited |
Showmax Viewng | 8 hours | 20 hours | 45 hours | Unlimited |
YouTube Viewing | 4 hours | 14 hours | 28 hours | Unlimited |
DSTV Now Viewing | 8 hours | 20 hours | 45 hours | Unlimited |
Stream Music | 20 hours | 100 hours | 200 hours | Unlimited |
Please note* The above table is an estimate, worked out according to each individual provider’s website information.
